Food business terms and conditions

RAVENSKNOWLE CHILDREN'S GALA FOOD BUSINESS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to the Ravensknowle Children’s Gala organised by Ravensknowle Children’s Gala Committee usually held on the last weekend in June within Ravensknowle Park, Wakefield Road, Huddersfield. They apply to all traders of foodstuffs. They should be read in conjunction with the General Terms and Conditions and the list of restricted items.

1. In addition to the documents listed as required under 1. of the General Terms and Conditions, all food businesses should have a four or five star hygiene rating and be able to provide evidence of the rating and the local authority they are registered with at the time of booking with us.

2. All food businesses should have experience of outdoor catering/food provision.

3. Food allergen information must be displayed and be visible to consumers and labelling rules followed as set out in food law.

4. The Gala committee cannot provide water facilities. Food businesses will need to provide their own water sufficient to meet good hygiene standards for their catering facility.

5. Food businesses should remove any oils used in their cooking process from the site when they leave. Oils should not be placed in the skips provided however general rubbish may be.

6. All food businesses are required to carry fire extinguishers and fire blankets.
